Manchester agency, Foundry Communications, has been appointed by Holt Lloyd International to help drive category growth across their entire portfolio of car care brands.
Since 1919, the global manufacturer has been supplying appearance, repair, maintenance and winter products to the automotive market.
The new relationship means the Foundry will be solely responsible for developing strategic marketing campaigns for Holt Lloyd’s established house of brands, which include Holts; Redex; Simoniz and Prestone.
Holt Lloyd’s Head of Marketing, Claire Fenton commented; “We are delighted with the recent appointment of The Foundry and are looking forward to working with them on some exciting brand activation projects planned this year to help drive our business forward.”
First on the list is a point-of-sale and experiential campaign for Simoniz, which aims to capitalise on the upcoming car cleaning season from March to September. The Simoniz range includes shampoo, wax, paint and polish for car interiors and exteriors.
Secondly, the Foundry has been tasked with developing a brand activation campaign for Prestone, one of the world’s leading antifreeze/coolant brands.
The Foundry’s planned activity will help Prestone to activate their sponsorship of this year’s British Rally Championship. The race will be decided over seven challenging rounds in Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Belgium, before culminating in the finale on the Isle of Man in September.
