The Foundry Wins Two Best of Health Awards

Design agency, The Foundry, has won two awards it entered, at the IPA’s Best of Health Awards ceremony. The interactive dermatology website, Skin Care World, won the Bronze Award for Consumer New Media and the Bronze Award for the Healthcare Professional New Media.

The Foundry was presented with both awards at an awards ceremony, held in The Conservatory, at The Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. The judges were impressed by the ability of the Skin Care World website to communicate clearly and effectively with both consumers and health care professionals.

The Skin Care World website is designed and built as a town with a school, community centre, health centre, town hall and café. The idea is to make it fun to learn about eczema for children suffering from the skin problem and also provide information for health care professionals on how to treat the problem. The library and community centre sections feature support materials and information, which can be downloaded.

The objective behind the Best of Health Awards is to showcase the best creativity in this specialist area. These awards are now recognised as the top creative advertising awards by healthcare advertising agencies, as they are the only awards given entirely by peers in the industry.
