The Foundry Scoops NW Entrepreneur Award

Kevin Murphy, Managing Director and Creative Director of design agency The Foundry was named ‘Communicator of the Year’ at the recent North West Entrepreneur Awards.

The award recognises the development of The Foundry’s business and its people. The company was founded ten years ago by Kevin and his business partner Ian McKay and has since become one of the UK’s top 50 design and new media agencies.

In that time, The Foundry has contributed over £16 million into the North West economy, helping to create and sustain jobs in the area.

During the last year, The Foundry’s turnover has increased by nearly a third and it has appointed five new members to the team of twenty-four.

Kevin Murphy says: “This is a great accolade for our company and is a reflection of our team and their achievements. To be voted for by your peers and the business community as a whole is quite an award; we are all very proud.”
