The Foundry Communications Ltd.

Some of our clients know us as designers and builders of unusually effective Web sites. Some use us to produce ad campaigns, that change minds and make sales. For others, we design packs, POS material, internal motivation campaigns or even exhibition stands and conferences. As one of our clients once said: "You're a design shop that thinks. A Web consultancy with strategies. An ad agency that cares about design." And our work works because it's based on our love of brands.

The Foundry appoints a New Business Director Julie Linforth

Defying the national economic downturn, The Foundry is expanding. As well as hiring new staff to service new projects for existing clients, the agency has just recruited a New Business Director to help take them in different directions. Julie Linforth, a former FMCG Consultant and Senior Marketing Manager took up the position on 5th January 2009.

Julie comes with a pedigree background, mainly client-side. Having run her own business since 2001 and worked at a senior level within the Healthcare and FMCG sectors, she brings a range of invaluable business skills to the position and is keen to introduce The Foundry’s award winning work to potential clients.

Kevin Murphy, Managing Director of The Foundry said: “Julie’s background is a perfect fit for this role. She has an impressive track record in marketing and an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs having undertaken huge projects with some of the UK’s best-loved brands. As one of the UK’s top 50 design agencies, we have established excellent relationships with clients and grown existing business continuously but an agency can’t stand still so we hope Julie’s expertise will introduce us to a new range of business sectors across the UK. It’s a very exciting time and we are very pleased to have her on board.”

Julie Linforth said: “As soon as I met Kevin and his team, I knew this was the agency for me. Having worked mainly client-side, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to bring new business opportunities to The Foundry. This is a dynamic and exciting agency, with a string of accolades for its award-winning work. I am thrilled at the prospect of helping to grow The Foundry’s business and look forward to the challenges that 2009 will bring.”
